I, like thrusts of other Golden Girls fans was heartbroken when I learned of Bea Arthur's passing. My love for the Golden Girls is like my love for Noah's Arc and Sex and the City. It's the friendship that drew me in and the Golden Girls are the foundation for the many shows that followed. I still watch it a few times every week and I fancy myself of a Dorothy, witty, sarcastic, intelligent encased with unique fashion sensibilities. Sofia and Dorothy are a lot like my mom and I. I had a great many things to say...express about this passing and the fact that there are only 2 Golden Girls left but instead I will say that I appreciate the contribution that Bea made to my life via Dorothy. May she rest in eternal peace.
